Please bring your own prayer mats

This second event in our Ramadan programme for 2024 is another feminist iftar and Magrib prayer. Some attendees will join the salah online and some will congregate together in-person at the venue. After salah we will eat and spend time together. We are repeating this event a the same location, Camden Disability Action on 30th March. We are also holding a Human Rights Iftar in partnership with Amnesty International UK on 5th April in east London and holding Eid Salah on 11th April. You can view all our Ramadan events on Eventbrite where you can register for tickets.

For anyone new to Inclusive Mosque, most of our imams are women, genderqueer or nonbinary Muslims. Please show them your full support.

We will not ask anyone to segregate themselves so please be aware that you may see Muslims of different genders praying side by side. If you are attending online, please see our ground rules and advice on etiquette at our online prayers before attending. You can join and leave an event whenever you need to. Don’t worry about being late or leaving early.

Covid Safety

Please bring your own prayer mats. We expect all attendees to take a Covid test on the day of the event and if it is positive, please do not attend. If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend. All attendees are expected to wear face masks on arrival and throughout the prayer unless they have a reason not to. We do this as an act of necessary community care in solidarity with disabled and immune-compromised members of the community.

Arrive: 5.45pm in person or 6pm if joining online.
Break fast: Shia time 6.28pm ¦ Sunni time 6.11pm
Salah: We will all pray together at 6.30pm
Food and social space: The hybrid option will end here and online participants will have their own social space and in-person attendees will have theirs.
Close: 7.45pm Please help us clear up the space and be out of the building by 8pm

This event is in-person with an option to join the salah online. For those joining online, a link will be sent to you a few days in advance and we will have auto-captions enabled. For those attending in-person, please wear masks and take covid tests on the day of the event. We consider wearing masks a necessary act of care towards disabled and immunocompromised people. Windows in the room will be open to allow ventilation to prevent the spread of Covid so please dress warmly. The venue is wheelchair accessible. We’re asking all attendees to purchase tickets if they can as this helps Inclusive Mosque to sustain our work. If you need a free ticket, use promo code free1532 when checking out and remember to click ‘apply’ when you enter the promo code.
