We’re taking a break from our jummahs

It’s been a helluva year and our imams and volunteers need a break so we’ve decided to practice what we preach and take some time to rest and rejuvenate. This means we’ll be pausing our Jummah prayers until Ramadan 2021. It’s a big shift for us and we’re a little nervous about it because Jummah prayers mean so much to us and we know they’re important to the folks who attend. But we’ve put a lot of thought into this decision and when we’re tired, it’s best to take some rest and restore our energy. You’ll hear from us at the end of March 2021 about resuming our prayer events and inshallah we’ll have a great timetable ready for Ramadan.

In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated on IMI news and we’re working on growing our team of volunteers and imams. As soon as we’re ready to start welcoming people to the team, we’ll announce it on the website and in our newsletter. You can also stay in touch by following us on Twitter and Instagram.
