Inclusive Mosque warmly invites Trans Muslims to join our online prayer space led by and for Trans Muslims. At this event, we’ll take some time to pray dhuhr together and then hold an optional social space afterwards. We’ll confirm whether dhuhr will be led in the Sunni or Shia style closer to the time but we’ll talk through the format at the start of the event so that everyone can follow along. We’re really excited to pray with you all!

We’ll be using Zoom to hold this prayer space, which means you’ll need a Zoom account to attend. The dates for these online events are:

You’ll need to register via Eventbrite for each date you’d like to attend. When you register, please select a ticket for each date you’d like to attend. If you would like to donate to Inclusive Mosque, please select a donation ticket in addition to an event ticket.

You’ll be taken through a few short questions during checkout, which helps us to keep our imams and organisers safe. On the day of the event, please ensure you’re joining the Zoom call using the name you signed up with. This process helps us to protect each other and our community online.

Please only register if you’re a Trans Muslim. We use Trans as an umbrella term that includes nonbinary people and people who are questioning or exploring their gender.

Price

This event is free, but donations are welcome (and needed!) We suggest a donation of £3 for this event.

Access

Auto-captioning will be available on both dates. BSL interpretation will be available on Sunday 6th November. We’re really sorry that we haven’t been able to arrange BSL interpretation for our October event.

You can join and leave the event whenever you need to – don’t worry about being late or leaving early. You don’t have to turn your video on. We ask you to please keep your microphone muted during prayers and no one is permitted to record or take pictures during the event.

Please let us know if you have any access needs we should be aware of or if there’s anything we can do to improve your experience at this event. You can email admin@inclusivemosque.org.

Online safety

You will be sent a link on the day of the event. Please do not share the link, that’s just for you. When you attend the event, make sure your Zoom display name is the same as the name you signed up with. Here’s how you can change your Zoom display name.

Emails from Eventbrite sometimes go straight to spam and junk folders so please check those as well as your inbox.
