For the next instalment of our Muslim Empowerment series, we will be hosting a half-day wellbeing and eco-therapy workshop for Muslims, led by experienced eco-therapists Safiya El-Gindy and Kate Drake.

The facilitators will guide activities around nature connection exploring the theme of compassion in nature, and how this can help cultivate personal, social and ecological resilience.

The session will include grounding exercises, exploring the garden, learning about compassion through a mix of independent activities, self-reflection and group work.

This half day will be fully outdoors (with shelter in case of rain) at Culpeper Community Garden.

About the Muslim Empowerment Series:

In response to far-right violence, IMI is launching our Muslim Empowerment Series, which was shaped by what our community told us they need: Grief, Resistance and Resilience. Together, we’ll explore healing and collective empowerment through community events, storytelling and nature. Follow us/subscribe to stay up to date!

Thank you to our members who attended the Community Debrief last year to guide this programme, and a thank you to Global Dialogue for funding this crucial work.
