Muharram, one of the sacred months in the Islamic calendar, begins in early September. Join us for an afternoon of remembrance, storytelling and prayers. We’ll discuss the meaning of Muharram, its significance to each of us and what we can take from Muharram to support our daily practice as Muslims. As with all public Inclusive Mosque events, everyone is welcome including Muslims from any sect and non-Muslims. We do not separate by gender so families are encouraged to attend together.

Dinner is provided in the evening with vegan and vegetarian options.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and gender neutral toilets available.

The event is free to attend but please register to help us keep an eye on numbers and make sure we order enough food!

If you can donate to IMI, please do. It costs us to rent an accessible space in central London and to provide food. Thanks in advance.

If you’d like to make a regular donation to IMI, please see out page on Charity Checkout.
