Inclusive Magrib, Isha & Taraweh

Online via Zoom

A diverse group of people, of all genders in prayer together

Date: Friday 16th April 2021
Time:
8pm to 10pm
Venue:
Online via Zoom
Tickets:
Please register via Eventbrite.

We invite you to join us in our online magrib, isha, and taraweh prayers. While we try to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect those who are at greater risk of catching it, we are continuing with our Ramadan events online.

How to join:

1. If you would like to attend our online magrib, isha & taraweh, please register on Eventbrite.

2. You will then be taken through a few short questions. For the protection of our imams, many of whom are women and/or from LGBT+ communities, we are screening registrations to minimise the risk of harassment and cyber bullying.

3. After screening registrations, we will send out a link to the online prayer spaceĀ on Friday morning with joining instructions.

We are also holding magrib, isha, and taraweh prayers on Friday 30th April. You can sign up on Eventbrite here.

IMPORTANT: Magrib, isha, and taraweh prayers are important in grounding ourselves and connecting with Allah swt and our communities during Ramadan. You are invited to join us on your own or with friends and family. We will not ask anyone to segregate themselves so please be aware that you may see Muslims of different genders praying side by side and that women and non-binary people often lead mixed-gender congregations in prayer at the Inclusive Mosque Initiative. Please see our ground rules and advice on etiquette at our online prayers before attending.

This event is free to all. Please consider becoming a regular donor to Inclusive Mosque to help us cover costs and continue to offer these events for free. Thank you for supporting our work creating an intersectional feminist mosque that centres Muslims who are women, nonbinary, queer, Black and/or disabled especially.

IMPORTANT: The event will take place on Zoom and you will be sent a link to the event on Friday morning. Please do not share the link, that’s just for you. When you attend the event, make sure your Zoom display name is the same as the name you signed up with. You don’t have to turn your video on.

Looking forward to being with you all in a virtual space!
