Inclusive Halaqa – Thursday 30th January

New Unity, 277A Upper Street, London, N1 2TZ

The halaqas are back for 2020. This space has been created primarily for people of colour who are women and/or genderqueer but everyone is welcome. On the last Thursday of every month at our Inclusive Halaqas, we journey through powerful themes in the Quran and sunnah in a safe and affirming space.

A halaqa is a gathering for the purpose of collectively studying the Qur’an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad. As with all IMI events, Muslims of all denominations are welcome to join, as well as peoples of all faiths and none. No prior knowledge is necessary, this is a place for exploration, devotion and doubt simultaneously.

No booking required; this event is free to attend. We appreciate all donations that help us to keep these kind of events going.
