Our Ummah: Supporting our LGBT family members

The Inclusive Mosque Initiative is hosting a gathering for family members of LGBT Muslims.

The primary aim of the event is to bring together Muslim mums, dads, siblings, cousins, aunties, uncles (all welcome!) to discuss your feelings and experiences of having an LGBT relative and to understand how best to support them.

This will be a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive space where we will have a facilitated discussion with an imam on the subject of sexuality and Islam, and you will be free to ask questions either during the workshop or in private.

Spaces are limited so please book early. The East London address will be provided once you have booked your ticket.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and there will be a British Sign Language interpreter.

Lunch will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
