The Inclusive Mosque Initiative is hosting a gathering for family members of LGBTQ+ Muslims.

The primary aim of the event is to bring together Muslim parents, siblings, cousins, aunties, uncles (all welcome!) to learn together, and to discuss your feelings and experiences of having an LGBTQ+ relative and to understand how best to support them.

We will have an imam lead a workshop on gender and sexual diversity in Islam and to answer any theological questions you may have.

We will also have a session led by a counsellor where you can explore your feelings and any concerns you may have, and provide support for each other by sharing your experiences.

This will be a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive space, and you will be free to ask questions either during the workshop or in private.

Please note, the event is primarily for *family members* of LGBTQ+ Muslims, but if you would like to bring someone else with you, you are welcome to do so if you book a ticket for them too.

The London address will be emailed to you a few days before the meeting.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch if you have any other access requirements including if you require a British Sign Language interpreter.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
